Abdullah Ibrahim, net aan ons geleen

by Karien Jordaan December 8, 2020

“For…

About Me

About Me

“A ship is safe in the harbour, but that’s not what ships are for"

I am a baby boomer who remembers garage parties, the Afro and stove pipe jeans well. Although I was trained in classical music I mostly busy myself with pictures and words. Until recently, my day job was that of news compiler/reader at a commercial radio station in Bloemfontein, South Africa. I’m a keen Yogi, love dragonflies and birds and travel as much as possible. “A ship is safe in the harbour, but that’s not what ships are for,” has been my mantra for as long as I can remember. My husband and I are relocating to Warrnambool, Australia, in June 2017. We’re not looking back.
