I simply love the Australian Mallee – it reminds me of the Kalahari – sans the call of the jackal and hyena. Birds are abundant in beautiful Hattah-Kulkyne (northern Victoria) and I managed to snap a few during our Easter Weekend camp-out at this pristine Ramsar site.
Best we forget about the ants that come out in their millions after sunset…
